We are working to keep a high level of security and privacy for our users, so we have made some changes to our forum:
We have added new functions to increase account security:
[Monday, April 22, 2019] Now you can enable Two-step (2FA) verification in your account security settings.
[Saturday, November 16, 2019] Added more 2FA providers: Security Key (U2F, YubiKey), email confirmation.
[Sunday, Match 1, 2020] Conversations are deleted after a day if there's no replies.
To enable or change your security settings click in your username in the top menu and then go to password and security.
Two-step verification increases the security of your account by requiring you to provide an additional code to complete the login process.
If your password is ever compromised, this verification will help prevent unauthorized access to your account.
· Verification code via app: This allows you to generate a verification code using an app on your phone. We recommend Authy.
· Backup codes: These codes can be used to log in if you don't have access to other verification methods. Keep these codes in a safe and secure place.
· Email confirmation: This will send a code via email to verify your login. Other two-step verification methods should be chosen over this if possible.
· Security Key (U2F, YubiKey): This allows you to use a security key device (like YubiKey) as a two factor method.
We also want to remind you that IP logging has been disabled. The remember me option is a cookie.
Remember that if you deal with someone outside our forum we will not be able to protect you from a scam or hack, proceed with caution.
Most of the scam are made through ICQ or Telegram, so don't trust completely if they want to deal with you using only ICQ or Telegram.
You will receive a push alert when a new conversation message is received, also when you create or interact in a thread, you will receive updates.
