Well, mixers can get tricky, you need to find some reputable services if you go down that road.
^---< This...even some reputable bitcoin mixers have fizzled out and been replaced by scammers who just use a clone of their abandoned website and keep your money. you use what appears to be a legitimate service, one with decent tenure and mostly positive reviews on the web, and it seems to work exactly the same, except when you send them your bitcoin, instead of sending it back, they...don't. i got hosed for $50 just the other day using the first search result...it was even a sponsored link, for crying out loud! when the funds didn't come I dug around and finally found a little corner on reddit revealing that the former well-regarded io had been dissolved and a group of scammers had taken up their gauntlet and standard...the first half of it, anyway. just be careful, make sure you check A LOT of different sources for impartial info and that the sources you find are as recent as possible - the transition from service to scam can literally happen overnight. I would also recommend starting with the smallest amount of funds allowed by the mixer you choose to test its validity before you cram your whole steak and potatoes up their blockchain. can't be too cautions with crypto...the only thing keeping it from mainstream use is that it is currently still a bit tricky to move it around, spend it, etc., unless you want to use completely transparent and traceable methods of payment, such as the bitcoin credit cards that were recently released...but that stuff is no good for any of our purposes (unless you perhaps had a fullz, you could potentially help a complete stranger apply for their very own bitcoin credit card and then surprise them with a bunch of gifts for yourself xD they would be so grateful...)

Monero is probably the best option you have, and just remember, the more degrees of separation from you, the better. Honestly, the mixing is probably unnecessary in the end. though the coins themselves are not anonymous as was once thought, there are many crypto wallets available for download that are. if you snagged yourself 4 or 5 of them and put most of them on a device that doesn't have your name attached to it, you could probably just shuffle them by sending different and random amounts from wallet to wallet in a series. as long as you use a different order for each chunk and making sure they are each sent to their final resting place FROM a different wallet...and as everyone else has said, if it were me, i'd probably convert them to xmr somewhere along the line as well just for the extra layer. Good luck :)

Well, mixers can get tricky, you need to find some reputable services if you go down that road. Monero is private, so you could clean your funds like this: btc > xmr > another xmr > two different btc wallets (so that the amount isn't the same).

Or use online btc casinos. Set up two different accounts and lose to yourself. But most of the time you need to verify those accounts to withdraw winnings.

P.S. If you don't mind me asking, what seller did you trade with on Paxful? Just want to make sure I don't get scammed when using them myself. Thank you and good luck with your laundering!
Also, for you Mister Tacos, some info...

First of all, buying btc on paxful is pretty darn safe because the coins are held in escrow. Once you provide the agreed-upon payment, it is, of course, up to the seller to release the funds, but if they refuse, you can start a dispute. once you demonstrate that you fulfilled your obligation per the agreement you both signed, Paxful can simply forcibly take their coins and give them to you xD just make sure you use wisdom and caution, and create your offers with prerequisites/terms that allow you to protect yourself. Remember that anyone caught scamming gets a permaban immediately, so anyone who has 98-100% positive feedback with over 500 or so different trading partners...well, let's just say that to fabricate those statistics would be a farkload of trouble to go to for a hundred bucks worth of steam cards...one time...before their account gets flushed down the toilet.com.

that said, though, i understand the itching nag of paranoia, so i also am very reluctant to pull the trigger on a trade with anyone i'm not familiar with, so here, maybe this will help...i did business last week with a trader named Simonebb16, he bought a few hundred bucks worth of bitcoin from me using cashapp as the payment option. his feedback is almost flawless, and he's really fast and efficient, and most importantly, honest. he agreed to let me use instant cashout to secure my funds before i released the coins from escrow, so no hint of foul play there. i actually made 3 or 4 separate trades with him, all very similar, so if he wanted to got me, he could've getted me, my guard was down by the end. 10 days later and no complications, no chargebacks, just great success! I highly recommend him. He offers a bunch of different payment methods, like kind of a crazy level of diversity, and he buys AND sells bitcoin, so he can pretty much accommodate any need you have. hope you find him as helpful as i did.
