ive tried this tutorial before & had a room paid for twice but when checkin in, they would not let me get passed not having the cc in person.

I've carded about 3 months of hotels and 1 month of AirBNB.
I have a few notes for you:
1. There should be no fear if you live in USA, UK, or similar Western countries, because the government has unofficially made carding legal (there's a political reason for this to do with Socialism) and the large corporate hotels know they can't inform your hotel of fraud until after you check-out, even if the chargeback happens almost immediately.
1.b. The only thing to fear (asides from fear itself) is that the hotel will cancel BEFORE you check-in (which they are allowed to do) or that the site you're using will put your name and other info into their fraud system so that they can block you more easily.
2. HotelTonight and AirBNB are perfect because they are 100% non-cancellable and non-refundable. Even if a chargeback occurs in-between purchase and checkin, after displaying a success message they are not allowed by the government (or, more accurately, the Socialists' and Capitalists' agreement in our countries) to cancel it. However, if they suspect fraud at the moment you purchase then they can put your purchase into a "pending" or "manual review" status, which almost always leads to failure.
3. I personally have never succeeded with booking.com because they mostly do "reservations" - meaning they only check that the card is live and has enough available balance/credit - and do not charge you until you're checking in... this has been the source of many, many failures for me.
4. Security Deposits are my greatest headache. You have to pay those out-of-pocket with your real money at the time of checkin (unless you have dumps encoded onto physical cards with holograms, printed logos, a matching embossed name, etc.). You can get the money back 5-7 business days later, but it's still a problem for me. Sometimes a $50 hotel will have a $150 security deposit. Only the lowest quality motels usually accept cash for security deposits. In the case of hotels owned by Hilton, be extra careful - they will charge the full room cost to the card you used for incidentals/security - but fortunately this is the ONLY chain of hotels where that has ever happened to me, across dozens of hotels. Specifically, it happened with a Hilton Doubletree.
5. Drury Inn is a wonderful hotel to get, if you can. They have $0 security deposits, but are much nicer than Motel 6, Super 8, etc. Free breakfast AND free dinner AND 3 free alcoholic drinks (!!!).
It sounds like the author may have found a small subset of rooms on booking.com that are not just non-refundable, but also non-cancellable - like all the rooms on AirBNB and HotelTonight. If so, this is great news and I am willing to give it a try. However, unless you're like me where you've carded HotelTonight and AirBNB so much that their fraud department is extremely, extremely on the lookout for you - you'll find these 2 to be much easier and safer to book.
Do you know any other apps like HotelTonight and AirBNB that are 100% non-cancellable? If so, let me know!
FYI - Last Minute Hotels, Expedia and Priceline are like booking.com and 99% of others... they can cancel on you before checkin even after initial success, and they usually only take reservations. The Motel 6 app is the same way.
